With a degree in Business Law and another in Industrial Property from the CEIPI, and a graduate of the Paris Bar Training School, Charlotte MONTAUD is a European Trademark and Design Attorney.
After working for six years with Intellectual Property law firms in Paris, Charlotte MONTAUD joined LAURENT & CHARRAS in 2009.
Charlotte assists Clients in assessing their intellectual property rights and acts in negotiating and writting agreements, for example on confidentiality agreements, consortium agreements, collaborative and partnership agreements, R&D agreements, co-ownership agreements, patent, trademark, design and copyright transfer and license agreements, transactional agreements, coexistence agreements, etc.
She also works as an attorney, defending Clients’ interest in litigation on patents, trademarks, designs, copyright and/or domain names.
Charlotte also specializes in out-of-court settlement procedures for domain names (UDRP, SYRELI procedures).
Charlotte MONTAUD is member of the Board of CNCPI, member of te Board of GRAPI, of the French Group of AIPPI, of AFPPI and of LES France (Licensing Executives Society).
Charlotte teaches at EM Lyon and the University of Lyon III.
